Comments on the War

I have been posting a lot of things about the controversies of 9/11 and the War on Iraq. I have never had a strong opinion of this until I came upon some of the I mentioned websites. There are two sides to every story though, so there could be refutes to this evidence that I have brought upon you.

I'd really like to know what people think about these findings of 9/11 and would enjoy some comments or if you find anything that refutes the evidence I have provided.

I would also enjoy comments on the War in Iraq and if our troops need to be over there. I don't think there is any need to endanger 20,000 more troops into Iraq. I don't personally like President Bush and think his motives are a bit shaky.

I would love to hear some of your comments.

Well since noone else has commented yet, I figured I would start out.

First of all the war in Iraq. That's a mess. Now I admit, like many other Americans, at first I was for the war. It made sense to me because we were freeing people from a ruthless dictator and because we were also getting rid of a potential threat to the United States.

That was then, this is now. It's obvious that the situation over there has spiraled out of control. I also think that we should end it before it gets any more messed up and costs any more American lives. I truly believe that the war was started with good intentions, but you know what they say about good intentions: the road to Hell is paved with them.

As for the '9/11' conspiracy, I'm not really sure I buy into that one. I am usually not trustworthy of the government and their explanations (there were 2 shooters on the grassy knoll), but I cannot bring myself to believe that 9/11 was planned. I hope to god it wasn't because the thought of that makes me sick. The truth is that it is over and done with, and while people will spend time coming up with theories, no one will ever know for sure. We just have to move on with our lives, and hope that it never happans again.

As for President Bush, well I try to reserve judgement on Presidents since I think they know a lot more then me. I'm a registered independent, and while my politics probably lean more towards the liberal side, I don't really think President Bush is a bad guy, but I didn't think President Clinton was a bad guy either.

The truth is that being president is a very hard job and I think that everyone makes mistakes. If you research every presidency, even some of the more popular ones like Kennedy or Roosevelt, you will find that everyone does both good and bad. They all try to do the best they can.
